The Burmon ICF Joist Hanger is specifically designed for use with Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) walls. At the heart is the Burmon ICF Connector System, which features a state-of-the-art double threaded cylinder bolt assembly. This system provides a robust solution for anchoring a variety of structural elements—including wood ledger brackets, wood and steel ledgers, joist hangers, I-joists, beams, and trusses—directly to ICF walls.
The cylinder bolt assembly is engineered with high-capacity shear points to efficiently transfer the load of unsupported spans. Its embedded legs are designed with holes that capture concrete (and optional rebar), while the high-capacity bolts securely anchor into the concrete within the ICF wall. This design utilizes the strength, stiffness, functionality, and overall durability of the connection.
